Y Montessori began as a personal journey—a journey of curiosity. It all started when my eldest daughter, at just 18 months old, entered a phase of constant "no." Desperate for answers, I discovered the Montessori philosophy, and it transformed my perspective on parenting and education.

Fast forward to the pandemic: my daughters were 2 and 4, and like many parents, I faced the challenges of online learning. Determined to make it work, I transformed our home into a Montessori-inspired environment and homeschooled them. Those 18 months weren’t easy, but they were transformative. I witnessed the power of Montessori principles firsthand—and also the struggles parents face in bringing them into daily life.

 

Inspired to help others, I pursued Montessori training and started a Montessori parent group at work. Through countless conversations, I realized how difficult it was for parents to find the right Montessori school. That’s when Y Montessori was born—a platform to simplify the process of finding Montessori schools.

 

As I continued engaging with schools and parents, I discovered a significant gap between them. This inspired the creation of Montopia—a solution to help schools effectively engage and educate parents while providing parents with tools to truly support their child’s Montessori journey.
